I was delayed getting to work today because of a driver going the wrong way around a roundabout, causing massive tailbacks of motorists shouting myriad variations on the “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?” theme and generally flailing their arms around like six-time amputee octopi. I think it says something about my general level of world-wearyness that I wasn’t quite as surprised as I should have been.

I was almost delayed getting to work today, due to severe bowel problems.
Fortunately, fate had it that I should make it to the bog in time. Sometimes small mercies are very important.

I was delayed getting to work yesterday cos I ran over a dog! Bastard ran out between two parked cars – I had no chance. Somehow it got up and ran off.
i’d never thought of this… which way round roundabouts do americans go… i guess anti-clockwise (opposite)… then again, do they even have roundabouts?
